Introduction

Purpose

This book contains a collection of games and activities for use in the maths classroom and provides opportunities for children to develop as learners in a wide variety of ways. They have all been tried and tested in my own classrooms over the years and shared with colleagues in KS1 and KS2. The activities are designed to introduce and reinforce mathematical concepts and can provide a rich source of ideas for achieving and consolidating many curricular objectives.
