This mystic-sounding title given to prompt engineers reflects what employers expect from generative AI tools and are willing to pay six-figure salaries for. Prompt engineering is the art of generating desired responses from generative AI by structuring the commands effectively. It is as much a wordplay as the ability to deconstruct any content into its many features. Unlocking that will be our mission in this chapter as we attempt to better understand the need for good prompts, what those entail, and how they can be used.
