Alan Weiss is the only nonjournalist in history to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Press Institute. He has authored 64 books, which appear in 12 languages. His clients have included Mercedes-Benz, Merck, Hewlett-Packard, the New York Times Company, and over 200 others. He is one of two people in history to both be elected into the Professional Speaker Hall of Fame and made a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants. He's written over 60 books appearing in 13 languages. His latest, released earlier this year, is Threescore and More (Taylor and Francis).
He has coached executives and entrepreneurs in nearly 60 countries. He is interviewed and quoted frequently in the media. Success magazine has cited him in an editorial devoted to his work as “a worldwide expert in executive education.” The New York Post called him “one of the most highly regarded independent consultants in America.” His annual Thought Leadership Conference has included guests such as James Carville, Marshall Goldsmith, Dan Pink, and Robert Cialdini. He has been married for 50 years to his high school sweetheart, Maria.
