The Presets Tab

If you find yourself repeatedly applying the same adjustments to your image, or if you come up with a set of adjustments that make an effect you especially like, then you might want to save those adjustments as a preset. Presets allow you to easily apply an entire set of adjustments to any image.

To save a preset:

1.
Set Camera Raw’s controls the way you want them.
2.
Switch to the Presets tab.
3.
Click the New Preset button at the bottom of the Presets tab.
4.
In the dialog that opens, make sure that the check box for any parameter you want to save in that preset is selected (Figure 5.39).
