One of the great advantages of raw shooting is the ability to process the same image in many different ways. Because your edits are stored separately from your image data, it’s possible to create radically different looks from a single raw file.
Camera Raw 5.2 includes a Snapshots panel that lets you save different sets of raw conversion parameters.
To create a snapshot:
Adjust all of your raw conversion parameters to taste. In addition to the usual tone and color adjustments, this can also include cropping and straightening, grayscale conversion, or any other control in Camera Raw.
