Moving the Bridge CS4 Cache

If you ever do upgrade your computer, and you’ve spent a long time making collections and defining keywords in Bridge, then you most likely won’t want to lose all of that organizational work. All of this information is cached by Bridge, and while the program does not offer any automatic way to move this data, you can move it by hand—if you’re careful.

To move the Bridge database and cache on a Macintosh:

1.
Navigate to [Your home folder] > Library > Application Support > Adobe.
2.
Copy the Bridge CS4 folder to the same location on your destination computer.
3.
On your source computer, navigate to [Your home folder] > Library > Caches > Adobe.
