In Chapter 1, you had a taste of using SQL to extract data from a database. We were a little bit in the dark there, since we weren’t fully informed about what was in the database. Sadly, that’s often the case in real life, but here we’ll get a better look at the databases itself.

In this chapter, we’ll look at what’s going on. This will be on two fronts:
