Running DNS on Nano Server

As discussed in earlier chapters of this book, Microsoft added DNS support for Nano Server. This support brings a convenient choice to run core infrastructure services on top of Nano Server which increase security and minimize disk footprint. So, instead of having a 12 GB image to run only Domain Name System (DNS) on Server with Desktop Experience and 7 GB for Server Core, you can use Nano Server with less than 1 GB of disk space and achieve the same thing.
