Reasons to use Virtualization
There are a lot of good and compelling reasons for organizations to opt for virtualization. A few of them are as follows:
- Server consolidation: Virtualization significantly reduces capital expenditures (CAPEX), hardware, power, cooling costs, and so on. If virtualization is not used, you will need a lot of servers to serve different workloads, which in turn consumes a lot of electricity, hardware cost, cooling, space, and so on.
