Process Engine server (PE server)

IBM FileNet Business Process Manager (BPM) is a world-class process management suite available from IBM. Like CM, it consists of many tools and other software components. The centerpiece of BPM is the Process Engine, and CM includes a limited-use license for PE. We'll see later that AE and XT include two pre-defined workflow definitions that you can use out-of-the-box with PE.

The PE is not currently supported on Linux (though it is supported on various other flavors of Unix, and it will be supported on Linux in the P8 5.0.0 release), so we will be installing it on a Microsoft Windows server.
