Sometimes the logic that you want to implement goes beyond simply joining to the cache using CQL or listening for and pushing events to the cache. Perhaps, you want to implement one or more of the Java APIs for Coherence. A common example is to implement an invoke operation on the cache. You can do this by implementing an
<wlevs:event-bean> event bean. The event bean implements both the
StreamSink interfaces, so that you can receive incoming events, do whatever logic you need using the Coherence cache APIs, and then create your outgoing events to downstream channels. Here is an example of the event bean configuration:
