Customizing GIMP
The Preferences dialog allows you to customize GIMP. You can ignore this area altogether or you can customize GIMP so that each time it opens, certain areas are arranged the way that you prefer. The Preferences dialog is available at Edit Preferences (see Figure 10-1).
