We've found at Aspire that not all of our schools are ready to go blended at the same time. In any given year, we might have a new principal, staff turnover, a building move, a rise or dip in student achievement, or some other event that might not make a school quite ready to convert to blended learning. This doesn't mean the school will never be ready—just that the school is not ready now. Over the years it has been our principal aim to choose schools really purposefully to get this work off the ground by defining a bunch of conditions that show whether or not a school is ready to convert to blended.
