The Networked Venture
It’s not strictly a franchise but a model I’m seeing take off is the ‘network model’ which involves similar principles to franchising in the careful selection and training of self-employed agents who represent your brand. You don’t hire staff full-time but do bring together a collection of talented and highly-qualified individuals to service sizeable contracts.
It’s a model I’m convinced we will see develop across more markets and sectors. There are a few key elements to it:
