Chapter 12. Digging In

In many wars and battles, the type of terrain and any manmade features has changed the course of a battle from impossible to win to success. In Chapter 7, I talk about actual terrain such as hills, roads, and water. In this chapter, I will discuss how the armies themselves can change or use the terrain or other equipment to their advantage to provide additional protection.

In this chapter, you will find out about these manmade features and how they might affect or be introduced into your games.
