ACTIVITY 4-2: Analyzing Keywords and Placements for YouTube

Before You Begin

You should be logged into your AdWords account with the Campaigns: BBQ Catering page open.

Scenario

Now that you are considering advertising on YouTube, you want to see if there are any better keywords that apply only to YouTube. In this activity, you will use the YouTube Keyword tool to search for keywords on YouTube and use the Placement tool to configure placements specifically for YouTube.

  1. Open the YouTube Keyword tool.
    1. In a new tab in Internet Explorer, navigate to https://ads.youtube.com/keyword_tool and press Enter to open the YouTube Keyword tool.
      Note: This tool is similar to the Google Keyword Planner, but measures keywords only on YouTube.  ...
