Summary
The 1.1 version of the AWT introduced the ScrollPane class, which makes scrolling a component a snap. Additionally, the AWT also provides a scrollbar class, in the event that you wish to take scrolling into your own hands.
In this chapter we've discussed scrollbars and scrollpanes at length and provided applets that scroll both components and images.
