Abstract
The world is now focusing on net-zero emissions to address global warming and its associated adverse impacts on the environment. The IEA, i.e., International Energy Agency, has released a comprehensive roadmap in order to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. The global electricity demand is increasing daily, and most energy demand is still met by power plants using fossil fuels, which play a major role in GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions.
