Garbage as a green waste comprises all the things we throw away as a result of our processes (value stream activities) or the support for those processes (overall building). This is one waste with which we are all very familiar. The idea of garbage as an environmental waste is nothing new and has come a long way over the past few years. The idea of the three Rs to reduce, reuse, and recycle our garbage is definitely not a new concept. Let's build on this traditional concept and take it a little further as we consider commercial garbage.
