A simple web server will always come in handy during the development process of web-based projects. They can be easily set up and used to serve web content from your local machine, so you don't have to worry about constantly deploying your experimental changes to a remote service provider.
We'll make use of the
(0.8.0) plugin, which provides us with the ability to set up and run a simple web server based on the Connect server framework. By default, it will only serve files from a directory, but it has the added benefit of being able to make use of the many Connect middleware plugins available.
