Stage 5: Consolidating Knowledge in Builds
Summary
As the project progresses, the team and the customer’s knowledge and understanding of the data grows. New data is received. Business rules are implemented and refined. Data quality issues are discovered and remediated. With this increase in knowledge comes an increase in complexity. A team member producing a work product must remember all the latest business rules and quality issues that affect the data and how all the latest data are connected together. This is inefficient and risks inconsistency in the team’s work products.
