Bishnu P. Pal
Bishnu P. Pal obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from the Jadavpur University (Kolkata) and Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi) in 1970 and 1975, respectively. In late 1977 he joined the academic staff of IIT Delhi as a specialist on Fiber Optics, where he is a Professor of Physics since 1990 and is currently the Head of its Computer Services Center. He has worked as a Visiting Scholar/Visiting Professor in the area of Fiber Optics and Applications at the Norwegian Institute of Technology, Trondheim (Norway), the Fraunhofer Institute für Physikalische Messtechnik, Freiburg (Germany), the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Boulder (USA), University of Strathclyde, Glasgow ...
