Abstract

This chapter comments on the role that environmental justice considerations can potentially play in a green economy, by pointing out the possibilities and challenges facing the world in the environmental policy domain. It explains how differences in the way environmental justice is framed—based on different empirical and theoretical approaches—could impact how green and just an economy is in practice.
