Financing the green economy
Abstract
The global low-carbon transition will define the global economy in the period ahead. The new definition will include the divergence between those who succeed in transition and those who could not. One important tool to limit the divergence and help convergence is the green finance.
Against its popularity, there is still no precise and commonly accepted definition of green finance. Hence, this chapter first looks at the definition of the green finance in an attempt to set up a well-defined framework for further discussion.
