A.1 Interpretations of metaheuristics

After realization of a metaheuristic algorithm, testing it to further understand it is a critical step. The test results will be very useful for improving the performance of the metaheuristic algorithm in question or for developing a new method. To understand the performance of a newly implemented metaheuristic algorithm, an intuitive way is to record their final results. But if we want to better understand the metaheuristic algorithm, it is better to keep more information because more details can be obtained from more complete testing data.
