New Approach, New Theory

The use of technologies is becoming ubiquitous throughout today’s society. As philosophies and practice move toward learner-centered pedagogies, technology, in a parallel move, is now able to provide new affordances to the learner, such as learning that is personalized, contextualized, and unrestricted by temporal and spatial constraints. The unique attributes of mobile learning (m-learning) provide a new approach to learning, which requires a new theory.
