A major advantage of computerized procedures is the ease of running classroom
demonstrations. For example, the administrator page of the Veconlab site (http://vecon-
lab.econ.virginia.edu/admin.htm) has a link to the “Decisions” menu, which in turn
has links to several separate programs, e.g. the Gneezy Potters continuous “Investment
Game,” the Holt-Laury “Lottery Choice Menu,” and a program called “Value
Elicitation” that implements either a menu-based certainty equivalent price list task or a
