Chapter 24. FINAL THOUGHTS ON THE SELECTION AND ASSESSMENT FIELD

I write this concluding chapter after reading the full set of chapters in this book. I will not take the traditional discussant role of commenting on each chapter in turn; rather, I offer some thoughts on issues facing the selection and assessment field that were prompted by the chapters individually and the book as a whole. The issues highlighted here are largely those where differing perspectives are reflected in various chapters in this book.
