Abstract: The article delivers an outline of key references to rhetoric and rhetoricity in the diverse field of feminist philosophy and gender theory. Starting from the observation that in this area of research, references to rhetoric are primarily made to rethink the concept and meaning of the body and of the embodied speaking subject, the article explores and unravels exemplary constellations of the relationship between corporality and rhetoric.
