You can create a hold over the data of a user or organizational unit so that Vault keeps that data indefinitely, even if that is past the requirements of any applicable retention rule.
Holds are placed on specific users, or organizational units, to retain their data indefinitely. Holds take precedence over the default retention rule and over any custom retention rules.
To create a new hold, follow these steps:
- Click CREATE HOLD to start
- Write the Name of the hold:
