Summary

In this chapter, you have learned how to write a microservice based on the template we created in the previous chapters. You have planned the routes and written the entire code base for the service. We started by configuring and defining the routes of this service. We then started writing helper functions and extensions. We also wrote the I/O and database models and finished by writing the functions of the controllers.

Now, you have learned how to write an extended microservice that is the first block of our shop backend use case. This is also important because you can use this service in other applications.
