OpenTSDB—using HBase to monitor an HBase cluster

OpenTSDB is an extremely scalable Time Series Database (TSDB) built on top of HBase. Like Ganglia, OpenTSDB can be used to monitor various systems including HBase. As compared to Ganglia, which stores its data in RRDtool, OpenTSDB leverages HBase's scalability to monitor it at a larger scale.
