Invest in Positive Relationships
Thomas Rajan’s earliest experiences were as an ethnic Indian from a Christian home, born and raised in the multicultural Islamic city-state of Dubai. Thomas’s father was an oil engineer who moved to Dubai in 1972 immediately following the UAE’s Declaration of Independence from the United Kingdom. Now a city of nearly three million, Dubai was a small town of under 300,000 when Thomas was born in 1981. As people rushed into the city to exploit the country’s newfound petroleum wealth, the city became one of the more vibrant and pluralistic in the world.
