Leaders, Stop Denying the Gender Inequity in Your Organization

The lack of women in leadership is not simply an issue of representation. Focusing solely on getting more women into leadership positions, at the expense of other related factors, not only treats women as token hires but also excludes men, who are made to feel as though prioritizing diversity and inclusion is a win-lose fight for a seat at the table. And improving representation will not, on its own, fix the culture and environment that excluded women in the first place.
