Considering Automated Queries for Measurement: How to Ask Questions to an EHR
Let’s get started by going through two example measures to explain the kind of detail needed to ask a question of an EHR. The EHR is primarily a database. It will provide data only if you ask in a way it can understand. And if the question is somewhat ambiguous, so will be the answer, if an answer is possible at all.
