Designing and applying information technology using standardized practices can be an extensive, time-consuming process. When possible, leverage the vendor’s standardized tools and process descriptions. When these are not suitable, incomplete, or need to be extended, you must assemble a process change team with the right skill sets, as well as subject-matter experts.
