How to encourage hungry teens to eat regular, nutritious meals.
The first thing to bear in mind is that the nutrient and energy needs of teenagers are higher than those of any other age group.
Growth and development are especially rapid now, so the need for energy and some nutrients is particularly high. This demand differs significantly between boys and girls. Boys need quite a bit more protein and energy at this age than girls, due to their greater growth spurt.
