Fast-Forward >>

In this chapter we added two animations to the Tic-Tac-Toe game: a scrolling background for the main screen, and bouncing tiles in the game screen. The techniques you learned will be useful in a number of situations.

In the next chapter we’ll explore how to make our apps compatible with a wide variety of screen sizes and devices. We’ll fix up our game to look good and work well with both phones and tablets. In Chapter 9, Publishing to the Play Store we’ll look at publishing an app to the Google Play Store. Then starting in Chapter 10, Connecting to the World we’ll move on to more advanced topics such as accessing the Internet and using location-based services.
