Chapter 9. A Large VoIP Network: An Availability Analysis
In this final chapter, we will perform our availability predictions on a cable network carrying voice and data traffic. We will be using all of the knowledge we have gained throughout the previous tutorial and example chapters.
The network used in this chapter is partially based on real life networks. However, some parts of one network were used and other parts of another network were used. The design of this network is not included as an example of how to build this type of network. That design would best be left to an network design expert.
