Editor Biographies

Frédéric Dufaux is a Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) research director at Telecom ParisTech. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Signal Processing: Image Communication.

Frédéric received his M.Sc. in physics and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne in 1990 and 1994, respectively. He has more than 20 years of experience in research, previously holding positions at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Emitall Surveillance, Genimedia, Compaq, Digital Equipment, MIT, and Bell Labs.
