Wave-Based RF Circuit Techniques
As the demand for higher communication bandwidths increases, higherperformance electronic circuit design techniques are explored. Some wave-based radio frequency (RF) circuit techniques are introduced to increase the received signal sensitivity. First, a new transmission line-based traveling wave oscillator technique, quarter-pumped distributed wave oscillator (QPDWO) [3], as a high-purity accurate signal source with multiple oscillation phases is introduced. These high-accuracy, high-frequency oscillation phases open paths to high-performance phased-array transceiver design.
