In the introduction to this book the point was made that many hiring problems are strategic in origin, using a surplus of talent strategy to screen out unqualified candidates rather than spending more time on attracting stronger talent. By spending more time with fewer prequalified prospects, it's possible to improve quality of hire efficiently, quickly, and at less cost. This chapter demonstrates how to leverage existing HR technology using a Win-Win Hiring focus. The technologies mentioned in the following examples are worth considering as part of implementing Performance-based Hiring but are recommendations only, not specific endorsements.
