In this chapter, we have taken a look at the quiz module. We have created different types of quizzes with a variety of question types. We have created a question bank for a course and organized the question bank into categories.

What happens to all the quiz attempts that students make and all of the essay questions and short answer questions that require marking by a teacher? That is where the gradebook comes in.

In the next chapter, we shall look in detail at the Gradebook and how it interacts with quizzes and other activities.
