Chapters 5 and 6 describe a set of skills which expert knowledge managers can use when determining what is relevant in a new subject area. We now present some segments of an interview with a Deputy Head of a London School (SA). Our comments are in square brackets and the linguistic expressions being targeted are in italics. The interviewer (I) uses the toolbag presented in Chapter 6.
SA: | It depends on the outcomes I want. The topics are less important than getting the learning outcomes. I know the children, so I know what I want to get to build what I want. |
