THE TIME MASTER COMMANDMENTS

PRACTICE THE 'WWW QUESTION' APPROACH TO PLANNING

  • W = What do you have to and want to get done?

  • W = When exactly will you do it?

  • W = Where will you write this information down so that it is easily visible and accessible to remind you?

DO THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FIRST

Ask yourself: 'What is the most important thing to do first?' Once you have an answer, that is what you should do. Once that is done, you move to the next most important task.

UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PROCRASTINATION AND PRIORITIZATION

Sometimes it is sensible to put things off because of a conscious decision that something else is more important at that time. When you do this, however, plan when you will do whatever you have put off.
