Positive conversations
Turning difficult conversations into positive ones is a challenge. Many managers feel poorly equipped to deal with these situations and are often afraid of the consequences.
Yet the cost of not having such conversations is a heavy one. It can affect productivity, customer satisfaction and team morale. Like the grains of sand falling through an hourglass, the problem or issue can build into something much bigger and more difficult to solve.
Equally difficult is the issue of team conflict, as ignoring this can mean that team members will become disengaged and even opt out altogether.
