Teaching, Learning, and Involvement
When Harris Semiconductor began their transition to SDWTs, they created an outline called TLI: Teaching Learning, and Involvement. The TLI sessions' primary goal is to create self-directed work teams that improve quality continuously through structured problem solving and effective interpersonal communications. The training follows four phases of team development, in three different skill areas. The skill areas are social, technical, and administrative. The classes listed below were developed by Harris Semiconductor and used when they implemented SDWTs. The following is an overview of the courses and can be adapted for your individual situations.
