Brazilian design studio Grïngo was founded in 2006 by childhood friends, and now partners, from São Paulo: André Matarazzo (taking on the strategic thinking and creative side) and Fernanda Jesus (who looks after client relations). After studying hotel management, which he believed would yield adventures around the world, Matarazzo abandoned the hospitality sector in 1997 to join McCann-Erickson in São Paulo to work on a new form of advertising, just nascent in Brazil, called ‘digital’.
