Convert Scanned Documents to PDF Format

If you have hard copies of documents such as contracts or product brochures that you need to share with coworkers or clients, you’ll find Acrobat to be user friendly. You could send the documents by fax, but in most cases, what your recipient receives isn’t anything near a reasonable facsimile of the original. To overcome the difference in resolution and quality of fax machines, create a PDF file for the document you want to share. If you have a scanner hooked up to your system, the Acrobat install utility adds the TWAIN information of the scanner as a scanner in the Create PDF From Scanner dialog box.
