Present yourself well in an interview and you’re probably 95 per cent of the way to getting the job. So it’s useful to have some insight into how recruiters go about selecting candidates before you go to your interview. Many take a ‘hit and miss’ approach, with little structure. Good recruiters, however, work to a plan and set standards and requirements relating to a variety of factors. They then decide whether these are essential or desirable.
